Heritage Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Robert Isenberg of the East Side Monthly begins his May 2019 article on Rose stating, "The Show Goes On...Powerhouse actress Rose Weaver to be inducted into Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame."  Rose is only the second African-American woman to be inducted. The first was Matilda Sissieretta Joyner Jones ("Black Patti") 1869-1933, a famous concert singer of the 19th century. On this momentous occasion, it would be a great honor if as many community members as possible would purchase tickets and attend the ceremony in honor of Rose and to help the Heritage Harbor Foundation.

The 2019 class of living inductees are Judge Frank Caprio Lester W. Cory, Richard I. Gouse, Dr. John B. Hattendorf, Sister Mary Reilly, Charles M. Royce, Dr. Stephen P. Salloway, Neil D. Steinberg and Rose Weaver.
